Sample matters of operating policy; include determination of yearly dues, appropriation of monies, local golf rules, golf competitions, prizes, luncheon, club house activities and other golf related matters. All other matters, such as changes to by - laws, will be presented to the membership for discussion and voting.

Article VII – Meetings

Business meetings will be held on or about the first Monday in November and the last Monday of March. Informal golf meetings will be held as necessary.

Article VIII – Golf Season

The FLGA 9 - Holers golf season shall begin prior to the first Monday in November and continue weekly until approximately the last Monday in April. The annual luncheon and awarding of prizes for year - long events will occur on the closing Monday in April or as deemed necessary to change by the Executive Committee. Officers will be nominated by the nominating committee: consisting of three FLGA 9 - hole members in good standing and the Past President. The Past President will serve as chair. If the Past President is unable to serve, then an immediate Past President will serve. A slate of officers to be nominated must be offered to the membership by the last Monday in February and posted on the ladies ’ FLGA bulletin board one month prior to voting at the end of the year luncheon in April. Each officer shall serve for a two - year term. An officer filling an un - expired term shall serve until the end of that term. Upon the resignation or permanent absence of any officer except President, the President shall name an officer pro - term until the nominating committee can present nomination for a new officer to the membership for election, and a successor is duly elected.
