Tournament Rules

Online Scoring

In an effort to streamline scoring, as well as make it interesting to follow along, we will require a player from each match to input scores into our Golf Genius tournament software. Players will only need to input the gross score for each player. If you do not have the Golf Genius app, please take the time to download it from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. You will need to put the GGID, which can be found on the bottom right hand side of the scorecard. This will need to be done for each 9 hole match. One paper scorecard per match will distributed for each match. At the conclusion of the match please verify that both the electronic scorecard and paper scorecard match. Contingencies If a flight has an odd number of teams, they will play one of their matches where it falls in sequence, Match Play vs. Par. If one member of a team is a “no show,” the match will be played one vs. two. If both players are a “no show,” the team will receive zero points and the other team will play their match against par.

Weather

If at anytime during the round the lightning alarm sounds, play is suspended immediately and players are asked to mark their ball and return to the clubhouse.

If Thursday’s round is rained out:

• Results from Wednesday will be used to determine the flight winners

We will make every attempt to adjust the shootout to finish on Thursday. If weather restricts the afternoon shootout, results will be determined by total points.
