FCC Coronavirus Response
recommended protocols as a sense of care and responsibility to the members,
staff, and my family. Unfortunately, it’s quite evident it can happen to anyone.
Our team had a plan in place for a moment like this. In fact, we have been
planning for this since March. As we mentioned before, our departments have
been separated into groups. For example, I stay out of the golf shop, fitness
center, etc., and those employees stay out of the clubhouse. However, one of
our administrative employees in the clubhouse, Sam Taskey, experienced
some mild symptoms and has tested positive as well today. For her, it was like
a common cold. We both felt it imperative to go get tested today even though
we felt fairly well. To be safe, Chef Ryan and Sarah were also tested today and
were both negative. These team members asked that their names be shared
so that you can make informed decisions in the event you came into contact
with any of us. Each team did not cross over into other areas of operation so
we could preserve the health and safety of each team. After review with the
Board of Directors, we will not have any change to the hours of operations due
to the procedures we have in place.
The housekeeping team will conduct a thorough cleaning and sanitizing of the
Clubhouse tomorrow. Clubhouse administrative staff will work from home
while testing continues. This means that no faxing, printing, or front office
assistance is available until we are able to safely do so. If you call the main
clubhouse number, please use the prompts to be directed to the desired
department. In the event you are unable to reach someone, please email
smr@fiddlestickscc.com or 239-210-2775 and Sarah will get back to you as
soon as possible. Questions about reservations for the Style and Grace Bistro
can be directed to Todd Kelly at 239-210-2776.
