FCC White Paper Report

Answer: Our lower member density offers a better experience but still requires adequate facilities: • Enhanced Member Experience: Our lower density results in a better member experience for golfers with excellent access to two great golf courses, seven tennis and eight pickleball courts, and for all members who can engage socially through a more intimate shared experience. • Facility Improvement Goals: We aim to improve facilities to accommodate these shared experiences. • Financial Considerations: While this benefit could justify a premium cost, past and present boards have worked to keep FCC's costs to members in the average range of country clubs in our region. This is a significant challenge for a club with only 585 doors, two courses, significant amenities, and services. FCC has one of the lowest costs for members with our amenities and fewer than seven hundred front doors in all of Southwest Florida.

23. What is the difference between a Value Club versus a Premier Club?

Answer:

A Value club is one that is operated with the philosophy of providing the least cost to the member for the minimum acceptable member services. A Premier club is operated in reverse, one that is operated with the philosophy of putting member satisfaction first and letting the cost of membership be commensurate.

24. How does this investment benefit me directly?

Answer:

• The possible improvements enhance safety, increase event capacity, provide more dining options, and improve the overall member experience. • Upgraded facilities protect and potentially enhance property values, including our collective $500 million housing investment.
