FCC Coronavirus Response
in order for our teams to comply with the order to limit groups to under 10. The
main area of concern is with golf course maintenance where we have a staff of
50. Our management team is actively reviewing all operations to see where we
may need to adjust staff so that there are only small groups at one time. This
may require a slight adjustment to tee times or start times, depending on the
course. We anticipate to roll out a plan early tomorrow and will communicate it
right away with the community. Please let me reiterate that we don’t expect a
significant impact on your experience.
Golf Operations has lifted the regulations on the number of carts per group.
People are now allowed to ride solo, however, we ask that you observe a 90
degree rule to help reduce the amount of wear and tear on the courses.
There’s no doubt the extra golf course usage will have a negative impact on
turf conditions so observing the 90 degree rule will certainly help reduce the
effect.
We have already witnessed such generosity and kindness from the
membership. As always, I am proud to be a part of this family and I look
forward to the day when we are all together again celebrating this great
community called Fiddlesticks.
