FCC Coronavirus Response

This online ARC application and approval procedure has been in place for

more than two years. We continue to ask for your assistance in following the

ARC rules and regulations. Thank you for doing your part to keep Fiddlesticks

an inviting and beautiful place to live.

Many of you been focusing on your lawns and gardens during this time at

home. While we encourage your beautification projects, the recent water

restrictions set forth by the South Florida Water Management District limits

your ability to water your lawn and garden. Please refer to that important

announcement sent on Friday with all of the complete details on the new

guidelines. We have continued to see lawns being watered on the wrong days

and times. It is crucial that we support this effort since our ability to water our

golf courses is directly affected by the county wide conversation efforts. We

need this to be a successful effort so that we can regain the 15% water

reduction that SWFWD has imposed on golf courses. Please call your irrigation

company or lawn care team and ask them to adjust your timers if you aren't

sure how to make that change on your own.

We continue to monitor state and local guidelines about the stay-at-home order

that ends on Thursday. While we expect Governor DeSantis to make

recommendations, we have yet to see anything unveiled that would affect our

operations. Case counts and other determining factors are surely being

reviewed, based on the Federal Coronavirus Task Force phased approach to

re-opening America. Now we may feel as if we are in a bit of a waiting game,

and that is true. Our patience and resolve is needed now more than ever.
