We are closing out another week of life within the gates with headlines across

the country focused on how and when states will reopen. We are constantly

monitoring the state and local recommendations provided, as well as those

from federal officials. Every state is in a different situation, therefore opening

guidelines are going to be varied. Here in Florida, each country club will make

their own decisions about how and when to open certain amenities, taking into

account the health and safety of everyone involved. Operationally, this will

require a focused and strategic plan that looks long term at what is best for the

club. We have made common-sense decisions from the start of this crisis, and

we will continue to do so as we move forward towards regaining some of the

normalcy we all crave. I ask for your patience, now more than ever.

This week we were able to focus on our collective health. Thanks to Dr.

Sherman and Dr. McKenna for sharing their knowledge with us and allowing us

all to come away with some very useful information. Both of those

presentations are below for your review again, or for the first time if you missed

them. Next week we will focus on how we are eating during this stressful time.

We may be eating more than we should, less than we should, or just eating

unhealthy foods. Let's touch base about tips on staying on track with our

healthy eating, or how to get back on track. Yoga is back for another week join

us to stretch, smile and namaste!

Beyond filling our minds with all of this important health information, we filled

our hearts with some much-needed cheer. Michael Moore Kelly continued our

Couch Concert series and will do so again next week. It might not be the same

as hearing him in the Pub, but seeing his face and hearing his voice brought

many of you back to simpler days when a Wednesday night Pasta Night and

music with Michael was a highlight in your week. Join us again next week,
