Introduction

On behalf of Fiddlesticks Country Club, we would like to extend our warmest welcome. The Professional Staff is pleased to have you join us for this year ’ s event. We look forward to a weekend full of camaraderie and exciting golf. Please consult the enclosed information for all tournament scheduling and information. If the staff can assist you in any way, please give us the opportunity to make this a special tournament .

Thursday, February 3 rd

Optional Practice Round Contact Golf Shop to make a reservation.

6:00pm:

Dinner buffet & live music in the Ballroom. For this casual gathering of friends, shorts and jeans are acceptable.

Friday, February 4 th

11:00am - 12:30pm:

Pre - play Luncheon in the Ballroom.

12:45pm:

Shotgun Start

Following Play:

Hosted cocktails at the scoring area

Friday evening is open to make a dining reservation in the Clubhouse, or venture off campus to see Southwest Florida.

Saturday, February 5 th

Closing Night Dinner Dance in the Ballroom. Jackets are optional, but not required.

Two Best Balls of Four

Format:

2 Best Ball of 4: (Gross and Net) Applying handicap strokes as they fall on the scorecard, record the best gross score and the best net score on each hole. If you pick up because you are out of the hole please record the score you most likely would have made. If a score is not recorded the golf shop will post par plus your handicap.

Handicaps: 85%

Members and guests will play from the members designated tournament tees. Tees will be defined on the left - hand side of your scorecard.

Tees:

A tie for the WINNER ’ s positions in either the GROSS or NET divisions will be broken using a sudden - death match of scorecards, beginning with the score on the Long Mean for 18 holes, if still tied, then we will break ties using the USGA ’ s recommendation of retrogression on the Long Mean; the back nine, then the last six holes, then the last three holes and if needed the number one handicap hole. ( Note : gross scores will be used to break a GROSS division tie while net scores will be used to break a NET division tie) All other ties will split

Squares on the raffle board will be available for $20/ea. and sold during Thursday's dinner as well as during the course of the event .

Always a crowd favorite, this event will precede Saturday ’ s round at the practice green near the clubhouse.

10:00 am - 12:15 pm

ENTRY FEE :

$10.00 each attempt Teams may attempt multiple times.

FORMAT :

~ Alternate shot ~ Once order is established, it must be followed throughout the event.

OUT OF BOUNDS : A one stroke penalty shall apply. A ball crossing string boundaries shall be placed at the point in which it first crossed the margin and 1 penalty sroke shall be added.
